KBS‘s ‘Love Rain‘ has been sold to 12 networks overseas!

‘Love Rain’ was already sold to the Japanese market even before its broadcast, and now China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Singapore, and certain locations in the Americas and Europe have picked it up!

The overseas market has been showing an interest in ‘Love Rain’ for quite a while now, which was demonstrated when reporters from all over the world gathered at the ‘Love Rain’ production conference at the Haneda Airport in Japan. ‘Love Rain’ was also the source of a lot of interest at the MIPTV in France.

It seems director Yoon Suk Ho‘s skills combined with lead stars Jang Geun Suk and YoonA‘s emotional acting have definitely played a large part in getting international attention.

The drama is currently being broadcast through KBS World and is receiving positive reactions from fans. Subtitled versions on YouTube are also showing high view counts, further illustrating the drama’s overseas potential.

‘Love Rain’s production company stated, “The staff and actors were all delighted to hear that the drama was being exported to various locations in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. They feel even more responsible for its continued success and are working as hard as ever, so please continue to show your support.”
